My Story

I have (foolishly) decided to run the Virtual London Marathon in 2022 for NHS Charities Together. Throughout the pandemic we clapped cheered and banged saucepans for our heroes in the NHS, and, whilst for many the pandemic brought the biggest challenges, mine, and my personal involvement with the NHS has become greater in 2022 than at any other time.

This has coincided coincidentally with an aim to be a lot fitter, to lose weight and to be a lot more active - so when I recieved an email from NHS Charities Together, and organisation I have worked with for around 4 years already, to run the Virtual London Marathon for them it seemed like it was a sign from the stars.

At the moment I am almost half way through Couch to 5k (Feb 2022) and by October need to have increased that by an extra 37km!

I would like to raise a minimum of £500 for NHS Charities Together

Donations to NHS Charities Together enable the health service to go above and beyond. Through its 241 member charities across the UK, funds will improve services for patients and support NHS staff to continue their vital work.
